L&P Group go North

L&P Group celebrated the launch of their new northern region office this week.

The team have been active in the northern region since 2017, working with and alongside fit-out contractor Overbury, Main Contractor Tillbury Douglas, and MEP Contractors T Clarke and Ameon delivering multiple projects in Manchester, Newcastle, and Liverpool.

The Groups Commissioning Consultancy division recently completed a 270,000sq ft refurbishment of the £11m HMRC India Buildings project in Liverpool. The team also commissioned the Barclays Phase 1 fit-out of Overbury’s new admin and back of house facilities, whilst also securing additional projects in the northern region at Stopford House in Stockport and BP Aberdeen.

COMCO have delivered Commissioning Management Packages for multiple Government and multinational businesses, most recently for the accountancy firm EY in both Manchester and Newcastle.

With the ongoing procurement and delivery of both new and existing projects across the UK from London to Aberdeen, the team achieved a strong turnover in 2021 despite continuing Covid challenges. The opening of a second UK office in Manchester aligns perfectly with the business and its ongoing development and growth in the UK.

Director of Operations, Peter Humphries said “Having an office based in central Manchester is critical for the Long and Partners Group moving forward and really cements our commitment to working in the city and the wider region. It’s wonderful to be able to spend more time in Manchester and to build a strong base from which both the entire Long and Partners group of businesses and our clients can benefit from.”

The new offices are located in Manchester City Centre at Bloc, 17 Marble Street M2 3AW.
