We are looking for a senior level ICT/Technology Consultant, to join a growing business in a buoyant market sector.

In this role you will be given the chance to work on high profile, smart building projects in the heart of London that require the latest in technology products including high level design and integration
Responsibilities and Core Skills
· You will be building Technology Systems – discipline encompassing IT and Communications Network Infrastructure and ELV systems
· You will be designing IT networks within buildings, alongside multiple design disciplines such as Security and Audio/Visual Systems
· You will liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand, develop, and interpret their requirements
· You will be implementing the latest leading edge network designs and technologies into real-world applications
· You will be creating future-ready / “smart-enabled” buildings
· You will project manage exciting ICT/Technology led developments from RIBA Stage 2 to Stage 5-6 (at the latter stages we would define this as MSI led work)
Further Core skills and responsibilities for Smart Technology Consultant:
· Has preferably project managed ICT/Technology led developments, sometimes referred to as the MSI (Master Systems Integrator). If not undertaken this before but does have experience in leading other ICT/Technology areas, they will require a desire to undertake this role from RIBA Stage 4 onwards
· Has a strong understanding of the technology being employed to buildings and how it impacts the delivery of the programme
· Have a wealth of experience in delivering complex solutions whilst keeping all stakeholders engaged
· Manages and coordinates the team members /ICT partners who are contracted to deliver the clients aspirations
· Provide a common data view for the systems controlling a building, campus or enterprise
· Ensures that all 3rd party contractors adhere to the programme
· Connect the building stakeholders to their systems and provide useful, meaningful, and important information and control
· Coordinates and managed the integration of systems required to deliver the Employers Requirements
· Implements the most appropriate and efficient network configurations
· Make sure all systems communicate properly, collaborate with building owners to ensure systems information will be accessible and usable
· Ensure team members develop software layers responsible for integration, aggregation, and communication of the building systems where required
· Educates contractors and stakeholders through ICT workshops
· Project Manage the delivery of all ICT related equipment and products selected
· Distribute regular meeting meetings and workshop items to the ICT team
· Closely manages the overall connectivity and integration process
· Provides visibility for the stakeholders and provides regular updates
· Has the authority to own the project outcomes ensuring that all of the suppliers and vendors work together to deliver integrated solutions
· Educate the construction team, look for synergy to save money, review progress and collaborate with IT Departments
· Approving relevant ICT related equipment and ensuring they meet the designed criteria with a view to ensuring the building can be “smart-enabled” or “smart” with the products in question
· Provide training and updates to staff where necessary
· Attend seminars and networking events to assist in the business development and growth of the business
· Implement suitable or designed Asset Tagging/Naming Conventions for all ICT related equipment for future Revitt/BIM models and or Digital Twin software(s)
· Ensure all ICT related equipment and contractors have their systems witnessing off and on site ahead of the Practical Completion Date
