We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to be part of a meaningful change in an industry overdue for transformation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To lead the respective discipline on an agreed project.
- Provide technical leadership, innovation solutions and expertise in building services design, guiding and overseeing the development of complex systems and solutions.
- Lead a team of engineers and other professionals, mentoring and guiding them in their work, and ensuring projects are staffed appropriately.
- Manage and co-ordinate multiple projects, ensuring that designs are delivered on time, resourced effectively, financially controlled and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Interact with Clients and other stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them into feasible design concepts, while maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Have a detailed understanding of other disciplines to present, convey and solve multi discipline engineering challenges.
- Provide and encourage training and development opportunities for Engineers.
- Offer guidance and support to engineers, graduates and apprentices, fostering their professional growth and development through personalised mentorship.
- Ensure the project if undertaken in accordance with the companies’ practices and procedures.
- Air in maintaining and developing the companies’ technical standards and encouraging their use.
- To monitor and apply document control and design management procedures.
- Develop and recognise new project opportunities and revenue streams
- Achieve Chartership with a relevant governing body (CIBSE, IET, IMechE)
